Children's Mental Health Site of the Month

 

 

 

 

NAMISCC presents:

Surviving the Fear of Loss (SFL) 

This newly-formed confidential support group is designed for families with a loved one who has attempted multiple suicides, with the goal of helping the family cope with very stressful life conditions.

Facilitator: Myriam Coppens, M.A., L.M.F.T.

Myriam is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist,  retired after twenty five years of service at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon, where she provided individual, couple, and group psychotherapy.  She is presently a facilitator of the "WINGS" support group for survivors of suicide, offered through Suicide Prevention Service of the Central Coast.

To sign up for this group, please call 831-429-8791. The group will meet every other Friday and sessions will begin on Friday, August 20, 2004, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Attendance is free of charge.
