To Other Families to Help You Cope

Life is hard
Everyone will have sorrow, some much more than others,
But we each have amazing strength, more than we know,
Just wait and you will see.
Don’t be afraid, things are as they are meant to be
Believe this somehow and you can survive
You are here to learn, you learn a lot through these difficult things
You grow, you must be flexible,
Breath deeply and feel all the love that is around you.
Accept what happens, flow with it, hand it over,
You cannot control everything, in fact almost nothing.
This may be sad, but it is so true.
Prayer is great, 12 step programs are great
Slowly you can find ways to feel joy again.
That is an intention, a choice you make with every thought
I choose joy, sometimes I truly feel it.
