DNC LAUNCHES DISABILITY OUTREACH NEW WEBSITE

Washington, D.C.-Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Terry McAuliffe today announced the launch of the DNC's Disability Outreach office's new website: www.democrats.org/disability. The site will allow the DNC to communicate specifically with Democrats with disabilities.

Through the website, visitors can access information on current issues and candidates, take action on important issues, connect to state and local parties, elected officials, media and more.

"We are very excited about the website," said McAuliffe. "It enables us to connect with people with disabilities, their families and friends all across the country, and it enables the disability community activists to take immediate action on issues that concern them. With this technology, we strengthen our ability to engage disabled people as active, effective advocates, speaking up about the issues that impact all of our lives."

"The Democratic Party has a long and proud history of promoting, supporting and defending the values of people with disabilities," Chairman McAuliffe said. "We remain committed to ensuring that individuals with disabilities have the facts on the issues that impact them, their families, and this new website will provide those facts with a click of a mouse."
