Hello,
My name is Linda Valentine and I am an active member of Support Coalition International (MindFreedom.org) and RAPS/Relatives & Allies of Psychiatric Survivors, Branch of MindFreedom.
I am thanking you for all the members in our groups for the fine article in In-Sight Magazine regarding Andrea Yates.
All of us know exactly what that poor woman went through. We have loved ones who are damaged by these drugs and we deal one on one with the withdrawal symptoms that can at times be so bizarre no one would believe it.
What she did doesn't surprise me at all and all the others who have been poisoned by psychiatrists and the pharmaceutical industries. They are all labeled "Mentally Ill" when in fact if they ever even had "Mental Illness" no one addressed it but did drug them to oblivion and damage these humans sometimes forever. My son is an example of 31 drugs pumped into him by various quacks (some could not speak english) just because they have the power to hurt and drug people against their will.
You did a fine job and someday maybe you will find the time to expose for all of us the damages that we have lived through, are living through, etc.
It never ends. Our situation has been going on since 1995 and I get to watch my son twitch, rock-in-place and wet. It is horrifying! If you have children and you did the best you could and they seemed to be normal with minor growing problems let me tell you that when the "system" gets through with them the person is destroyed, the family is destroyed and life is never good again just knowing they are hurting countless numbers of others each and everyday and getting away with it.
