A Conference by Consumers for Staff

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Patricia Deegan Ph.D.

Drawing on her personal experience of recovery as well as her interviews with people who have recovered, Dr. Deegan will talk about some of the major themes and principles of the recovery process including worldwide empirical data that demonstrate people can and do recover from major mental illnesses; suggestions for systems change and ways for staff to support the recovery process. There will be plenty of time for discussion.

The afternoon session will include speakers on Barriers to Recovery and Collaboration and Cooperation.

Registration fee is $ 15.00 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
