THE
FISHERMAN
A
Mother honors her son
To Mark
Begin each day with a thankful heart. Love yourself even more. Your individual spark holds gist, as you stand upon the shore. Your kindness and humor gently tend towards your fellow mates- for they have weathered the same
fierce storms, with He who navigates.
Time past you fished upon the
wharf, cast line and sinker deep, with breeze and mist upon your
young face, caught crabs and fish to eat. Memories will stay apart of you, woven deep in your Soul, though currents changed, and
seasons rushed- gray tide sweeping low. Your life moved on, as sea gulls
did search, circling sea and sand, leaving messages at The Light
House, petitions to His hand. He never left you as inlets curved,
sweeping your life along, dragging the anchor of dreams to
depths, where sharpest crag’s are found. Echo’s of your courage still
linger, when compass took a spin, directing courses you had not
sought, trudging with the din. May new days dawn with renewed
strength, coming to terms within, dueling this maze upon the rift, in valor you shall win. Your
bravery is so notable, patience
surpassing all, strange
burdens that you carry inside, in
your height, I feel small. These
events that have attached to you,
reel
my heart closer too, entwining
love , steady and strong
holding
tight in God’s palm by Jacque (submitted by Joy) |
