Ending the Silence Volunteer (ETS)A program designed to break stigma and increase awareness of mental health issues and resource on High School campuses. There is an interview and screening process for this role. Accepted individuals are trained in a special curriculum and present at local High Schools.
Helpline Volunteer (HL)Join our community helpline, giving resources and support to family members and peers. This is not a crisis line. There is an interview and screening process for this role. Requires a six month commitment.
In Our Own Voice Presenter (IOOV)A NAMI signature program trains teams of speakers to give presentations that break stereotypes by describing the reality of living with mental illness.
NAMI On Campus VolunteerSupport college students in developing a NAMI club on their college campus.
Speaker Meeting VolunteerMonthly education and advocacy oriented community meetings. Volunteer support includes set up, interacting with community members, breakdown and clean up.
