Zoom Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you are unable to join the call from the link, download the Zoom app first and then try again.
    • You may also watch this video on how to join a Zoom meeting.

  • If you are unable to hear others, but they can hear you, please make sure the volume is turned on and up on your computer, and/or any speakers that you are using are plugged in and turned on. If this does not solve the issue, follow the instructions in the next bullet points.

  • If you are not being heard, please leave the call by clicking "Leave Meeting" in the top or bottom right hand corner, and join again making sure to follow the guidelines below.

  • Computer users:
    • Make sure you "Join with computer audio" so we can hear you! (Computer audio is best if possible, otherwise you may choose the Dial In option)

  • Smartphone users:
    • Allow Zoom to access your microphone so we can hear you!
    • Select "Call using internet audio" for the easiest audio option. You may also select "Dial In".
