Do you have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)? Are you at least 70 1/2 years old?
If so, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) may lower your taxable income by directing a portion of your IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) directly from your IRA to NAMI Santa Cruz County. Please consult your tax advisor to ask if a QCD is right for you. These gifts can be set up through your IRA administrator.
