Other Ways to Give

Grants from Donor-advised Funds
NAMI Santa Cruz County gratefully accepts grants from donor-advised funds (DAFs), such as Fidelity, Schwab or Community Foundation giving funds.

 Stock Gifts
We accept gifts of stock!
Gifts of appreciated stock can make a big impact and save you money on taxes. That means your gift can go farther in supporting mental health in our community.
Community Foundation Santa Cruz County accepts and processes gifts of stock on behalf of NAMI-SCC.
Please contact Danu Schoeck at danu@namiscc.org to arrange a gift of stock or to find out more.

 IRA QCD Gifts
Do you have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)? Are you at least 70 1/2 years old?
If so, Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) may lower your taxable income by directing a portion of your IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) directly from your IRA to NAMI Santa Cruz County. Please consult your tax advisor to ask if a QCD is right for you. These gifts can be set up through your IRA administrator.

Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers offer to match charitable donations made by their employees.
Don't miss out on an opportunity to double or even triple the impact of your gift.
Ask your employer today if they will match your donation to NAMI Santa Cruz County!

Legacy Giving & Planned Giving
You can help NAMISCC to be here for future generations by making a legacy gift (aka "estate gift") or a planned gift of another type. Legacy gifts are often made through wills or trusts and can be as easy as a beneficiary designation on a retirement account.
Click HERE  to learn more about making a legacy or planned gift to ensure NAMISCC is here for all who need us both now AND in the future!
