**LOCAL ADVOCACY UPDATE AUG 2022:**
Please join us in providing feedback to impact our county's work to develop a Youth Crisis Program in Santa Cruz County. The Santa Cruz County Department of Children's Mental Health (SCCBH) is applying for a grant to create hospital diversion programs specifically for youth and families, and we need your support and input! The county is requesting funds to create two new programs. 1) an 8-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and 2) a short-term Children's Crisis Residential Program (CCRP) (10 days) with 16 beds in a new building in South County.
It is very important that we include the voices of the families in our community in this project.
Please fill out the survey below to give SCCBH direct feedback on topics such as how this project would benefit our community, how a lack of youth crisis services has affected your family, and what factors SCCBH should consider when designing these services.
