Mental Health Crisis Response City Council Study Session

This study session will provide information on a number of mental health response programs that exist in the City, County and participants will receive a presentation on the CAHOOTS program which has gained a lot of attention over the past few months. An agenda packet will be coming forward in the next few days and please check the City's website for more information.
CAHOOTS (Crisis Assistance Helping Out On The Streets) is a Mobile Crisis Intervention Service (MCIS) that provides 24 hour emergency response services without law enforcement involvement in order to reduce costs and to reduce potential traumatization or violent outcomes.
