  • COVID-19 screenings are conducted for all referrals, vendors, law enforcement, etc.

Free Yoga Class and Peer Support for People with a Psychiatric Diagnosis
Meets on Tuesdays at 5:30pm.EST
Do yoga for 30 min, a relaxing guided meditation for 10 min. and then talk about our struggles and positive ways of coping with our struggles for 30 min. Class leader has recovered from a serious psychiatric condition and leads a happy and fulfilled life. They have been a mental health advocate for over 25 years and legally represented patients in psychiatric hospitals for 10 years. They ran a peer support group with the National Alliance on Mental Illness for two years.

​Research Opportunity for FEP Families



​"Motivational Interviewing for Loved Ones" is a brief, 4-session course of individual coaching for parents or other family members or friends whose relative is experiencing psychosis (onset in past 5 years) and ambivalent in some way about treatment.
Participants practice approaching difficult conversations about FEP treatment by asking questions, de-escalating conflict, and affirming the autonomy of their loved one with psychosis.

Consent, assessments, and coaching sessions all occur online. Participants may receive up to $75 for completing assessments before and after the intervention.
